Ryan Androsoff
Ryan Androsoff is the Senior Policy Advisor for Web 2.0 in the Chief Information Officer Branch of the Treasury Board Secretariat. In his current role, Ryan is developing government-wide polices and strategy for the incorporation of Web 2.0 technology into the business processes of government. He advocates for increased and effective use of social media tools across the GC through guidance, engagement and community collaboration.
Ryan’s career has included serving as an advisor to Canada’s Minister of International Cooperation at the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), as well as working at the World Bank in Washington, DC on initiatives to promote results-based management in international development. Ryan is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he earned a Master in Public Policy degree. His research at Harvard focused on “Government 2.0” and collaborative governance reforms and he specifically examined the implications for governments of using social media and other on-line collaboration tools. Ryan also has a Honours degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University in Ottawa.
