Government open data presents a number of opportunities for citizens, designers, developers and elected officials. It also presents many challenges including data quality, citizen-government collaboration and simply creating useful applications.
Adam Schwabe, Associate Partner at digital user experience agency Teehan+Lax and creator of the popular TTC streetcar (and soon bus) finding iPhone app 'Rocket Radar', will speak about his experience in creating the app, handling user requests and working with the TTC and City of Toronto.
