Session Room:
AUD C

This panel will focus on the problem of bridging government data, developers and community/user needs. What are the experiences so far in different cities? What have we learned, and what more is to be done to create the open data apps ecosystem of our dreams?

Mark Kuznicki will tell the DataTO.org story from his perspective in Toronto. Joey Coleman (http://www.openhamilton.ca/) shares his story about his experiences in Hamilton. Ashley Casovan will bring the perspective of the City of Edmonton. Momoko Price of Buzzdata will reflect on the problem, explaining how Buzzdata is trying to solve some aspects of this problem.

Then we turn things over to our audience, looking for ideas and good practices to creating the glue between data, developers and community to create new public value.
